Solidarity with all Healthcare Workers
During this unprecedented health crisis, Airtech employees are finding solutions to help caregivers and health services by providing them with protective equipment. Using our design and cutting capabilities, we have been able to create a prototype of gowns based on several Airtech films, which were subsequently validated by the hospital community as an urgent solution for a serious shortage on the market.
Coronavirus (COVID-19)
The Airtech Advanced Materials Group continues to work and manufacture globally to reduce any supply impacts of COVID-19. Stock levels remain high within the group and we are in a good position to continue to work in partnership with our valued customers during these difficult times.
Airtac 2 Improved
Airtac 2 Improved is a mist spray rubber adhesive designed for temporary bonds. Airtac 2 Improved can be used on materials needing extra tack for placement on vertical or difficult surface areas. This product is ideally suited for tool shop applications such as temporary placement of details and pattern fabrication. Airtac 2 Improved meets many of the low VOC state restrictions for aerosol products.
Airtech Advanced Materials Group Invests in a New Technology and a 10’ x 40’ LSAM 3D Printing Machine
Airtech Advanced Materials Group, the world’s largest manufacturer of vacuum bagging and composite tooling materials, has invested in new technology in the form of a Large Scale Additive Manufacturing (LSAM) 3D printing machine with integrated machining capability.
Wrightlease 4
Wrightlease 4 is an extruded fluoropolymer film coated with silicone pressure sensitive adhesive. The orange color is highly visible on most substrates in addition to offering high elongation and tensile strength.

OOA Beta Prepreg
OOA Beta Prepreg is a new benzoxazine formulation that allows autoclave and out of autoclave (OOA) processing. OOA Beta Prepreg offers long term storage at room temperature. OOA Beta Prepreg has low resin shrinkage during cure and has a high glass transition temperature.
NEW Vac Saver HT
Vac Saver HT is a one way valve usable to protect vacuum bagged parts against vacuum loss which are multiple connected to a vacuum source. In case of a vacuum loss in a part which is connected to the same vacuum source, the Vac Saver HT closes automatically and protects this part against vacuum loss.
NEW Corehold P-HA
Corehold P-HA is a core holding film designed to hold honeycomb core and other core materials during machining. It is a polyester film coated on one side with a silicone free synthetic rubber adhesive. The film is supplied with a yellow backing release paper on one side.

Stretch Flow P 2000
Stretch Flow P 2000 is a knitted, polyester breather with excellent stretch properties. The high-stretch characteristics of Stretch Flow P 2000 enable it to conform to many complex contour surfaces, ensuring good application of pressure by vacuum bags.
Vac Valve 429 SS HTR
Vac Valve 429 SS HTR was designed for high temperature cures where standard valves with silicone rubber seals fail. Vac Valve 429 SS HTR is to be used for direct connection to vacuum hoses instead of complex and expensive coupling systems.

NEW Thermalimide RCBS
Thermalimide RCBS is a high performance release film treated on both sides for cure temperatures up to 761°F (405°C). Thermalimide RCBS is an ideal release film used during the forming process of thermoplastic materials and other high temperature applications.
NEW Fast Tack HT
New generation sealant tape for high temperature applications. Fast Tack HT builds tack quickly when applied to Thermalimide. Having good room temperature adhesion to the high temp bagging film reduces the time required to vacuum bag high temperature parts.
NEW Airweave? UHT 300PGL & 450PGL
Airweave? UHT 300PGL and Airweave? UHT 450PGL are premium non-woven blended, fiberglass breather for ultra high temperature applications. It is safer to use these breathers in place of woven fiberglass breathers.
GS-333LT Vacuum Bag Sealant Tape
GS-333LT is a low tack version of our standard GS-333 tape. GS-333LT is a sealant tape which has been designed to take longer cures and still remove cleanly.
NEW Flashbreaker? 1R Pre-Cut Tape Strips
Flashbreaker? 1R is now available in 1” x 2” (2.54 cm x 5.08 cm) Pre-Cut Tape Strips for customers who want to reduce touch labor and minimize the use of knives and scissors to avoid risk of hand injury. In addition, it eliminates the possibility of damaging the vacuum bag. There’s 2,500 cut strips per roll.
Senegal Project
On March 2018, Airtech supported the social program “Tambali Fii - Let's Start from Here” in Senegal (Western Africa) by offering vacuum bagging materials for resin infusion.

Airtech TMGC-TX Fabrics are Triaxial Carbon Fabrics developed for the manufacture of composite molds with Airtech Toolfusion? resins.
NEW A4000 LFST Heat Shrinkable Release Film Tube
A4000 LFST is a heat shrinkable lay-flat tube which has been oriented in the transverse direction. When exposed to heat 249 to 348°F (121 to 176°C) in a recirculating oven, tunnel oven or from a heat gun, the A4000 LFST material will shrink to closely fit the mandrel.

NEW Airtac 3 Spray Adhesive and Air Trigger
Airtac 3 is a new, safer spray adhesive designed for temporary bonding. Airtac 3 can be used to hold dry materials on contours and vertical surfaces. This product is ideally suited to resin infusion applications for holding reinforcement plies, release films, peel plies, and infusion mesh in place until the vacuum bag is secured. Airtac 3 has a fine pebble spray pattern which reduces airborne material. This reduces overspray and user exposure. Air trigger is sold separately.

This New Year, 2018 marks the 45th anniversary of Airtech Advanced Materials Group. The company will be celebrating all year long at all worldwide locations. To celebrate the 45th anniversary, Airtech has created a custom logo that will be featured throughout 2018 and has planned company and family events through the year.

Airtech Asia is pleased to announce the relocation to a bigger facility in the same city, Tianjin, China. This expansion will allow more office, warehouse, and manufacturing space to support its growing customer base. Filmcote? 1524 is an engineered film developed as a replacement for release liquids on the surface of mold tools. Filmcote? 1524 remains on the part surface after demold providing protection from damage or contamination during subsequent process.

Beta TX670 DISCO is a prepreg sold in sheet format. This special format allows for simpler and faster layups. Beta TX670 DISCO Prepreg has a 0°,+/-60° orientation, is quasi-isotropic within each ply, and comes with an engineered cut pattern that improves drapability.
